Dedicated to serving New Yorkers experiencing homelessness, hunger, and poverty, Broadway Community sets an abundant table, believing that everyone deserves justice, dignity, health, and wholeness. We empower one another with nourishing food, a welcoming environment, shelter, medical care, life skills practice, and faithful accompaniment through challenging times. Description

We are on the front lines of New York City's homelessness, hunger, and mental health crises. Operating a broad range of programs including shelter, emergency food, on-site medical services, showers, case management, supportive counseling, employment assistance, housing navigation, and more, we help hundreds of people a week meet their basic needs and access the resources they need to improve their life circumstances.

Since March of 2020, our soup kitchen has distributed over 200,000 meals, our food pantry has distributed over 250,000 pounds of food, our shelter has provided over 20,000 nights of rest, and we’ve helped connect countless people to employment, permanent housing, and stable ground upon which they can rebuild their lives.
