Citizen Teacher Helping Students

Support students in developing real-world skills by volunteering as a virtual mentor this spring!

Mentors work with a classroom of students to guide them through an experience-based learning project, helping them strengthen presentation skills, critical thinking, and collaborative problem-solving while gaining insight into future careers.

Through weekly virtual sessions, mentors provide valuable connections between students’ learning and real-world career paths, offering guidance and inspiration from their own professional and educational experiences. By building trusting relationships, mentors help students see themselves in diverse career opportunities and thrive in their learning journey.

To support our spring program, volunteers must commit to 6-8 virtual mentoring sessions from March through May with a participating classroom in Boston. We can schedule you according to your availability.
