School Field Trip for Bird Banding - Volunteer Job Description

Do you have a love for nature that you want to share with others? Do you want hands-on experience in environmental education? If you do, we have a great volunteer opportunity for you! Our goal is to forge deep connection with nature through exploration. We need you to help us accomplish this goal. You will help lead elementary school age children around three stations at our outdoor campus and teach at the pond or nests station. The 3rd station is bird banding of live birds and this is conducted by the Bird Conservancy. Must attend training in April and commit to at least 4 programs per season (April-May).
