Once trained, Docents will lead field trips for school groups (primarily 2nd graders) visiting the Arboretum. Adults intersted in this opportunity should be available during the school day, experienced working with children, comfortable teaching class-sized groups, and able to move around the grounds through various teaching stations. Ideal for gardeners and master gardeners, nature enthusiasts and retired teachers.
