Show some loving to our communities by volunteering with us! Nothing is done alone, it takes a village. Everyone is welcome, all we ask is that you come with a positive attitude and are ready to serve! Volunteers can help sort donated materials, organize care packages, transport donations, work in our free store and more! Our warehouse is open for volunteer sign ups Saturdays and Sundays from 12pm to 5pm. To sign up please visit our website at: https://communityloving.org

Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide essential resources to families and youth in the South Bay area of Los Angeles so they can do more than survive.

Description

Our vision is to transform the South Bay into a more compassionate and connected community that prioritizes collective care. Since 2020, Community Loving has supported over 1,000 families in the South Bay and Greater Los Angeles Area.

The organization was created to address the gaps in support exposed during the pandemic and to stand against injustices impacting Black and POC neighbors. We are dedicated to pursuing liberation and freedom, recognizing that true equity and justice require transformative changes to our current systems.

We believe that marginalized communities deserve more than just survival-they deserve the chance to thrive. By providing essential resources, we empower individuals to focus on living fully and healing deeply. When our basic needs are met without unnecessary barriers, we can reclaim control over our bodies, time, spaces, and lives.
