The Greenville NC Heart Ball is a night dedicated to celebrating community members and survivors in Greenville, NC and beyond. With a silent auction, event program, seated dinner, live auction, and after party, the Heart Ball is our opportunity to honor guests and volunteers that are dedicated to furthering the mission of the American Heart Association.
Volunteers will assist in guest registration, greeting, coat check, silent auction bid assist, live auction spotting, and more! There will be a quick 15 minute call with the Event Planning Coordinator before the event to go over roles, responsibilities, and any questions. We would love to have you volunteer with us!

Mission Statement
To be a relentless force for a world of longer, healthier lives.
Description
Eastern North Carolina Group:
From a group of six cardiologists in 1924, the American Heart Association has grown into the nation’s oldest and largest voluntary organization dedicated to fighting heart disease and stroke. Heart disease is the No. 1 killer worldwide, and stroke ranks second globally. Even when those conditions don’t result in death, they can cause disability and diminish quality of life. The AHA knows that with your help, we can see a world free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke. We accomplish this mission by:
- Investing in lifesaving research.
- Helping people understand how to make healthy lifestyle choices.
- Providing science-based guidelines for healthcare professionals to better serve their patients.
- Educating public officials, and advocating for policies that protect and improve community health.
- Working with diverse partners to remove barriers to care and build a culture focused on health equity.
