This person spearheads our events! As a nationwide organization we strive to build multiple events in multiple cities. This coordinator for Roscoe Rescues has a passion for being the change they want to see in the world. This is a part time volunteer position local to YOUR city.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals, strong organizational skills, and experience in event planning and coordination. You will play a vital role in managing logistics, communications, and partnerships for a variety of events aimed at raising funds and awareness for animal welfare causes. You will work directly with the Lead Events Coordinator.

• Event Planning & Coordination:

  • Lead the planning and execution of fundraising events
  • Work closely with the fundraising team to develop event concepts, set goals, and align events with organizational objectives.
  • Coordinate all aspects of events including venue selection, catering, entertainment, guest lists, volunteer management, and logistics.
• • Negotiate contracts with vendors, sponsors, and venues to secure the best possible rates and services.
  • Ensure all fundraising goals and targets are met through careful planning and execution.
  • Develop and execute event marketing strategies to promote fundraising events through social media, email campaigns, print materials, and local media outlets.

• Sponsor & Donor Relations:

  • Build and maintain relationships with sponsors, donors, and partners to ensure long-term support for events.
  • Recognize and acknowledge sponsors and donors during and after events.
  • Work with the fundraising team to ensure effective follow-up with event participants and supporters to strengthen relationships.

• Volunteer Management:

  • Recruit, train, and manage volunteers to assist with event setup, registration, guest services, and other event tasks.
  • Create volunteer schedules and ensure clear communication of roles and responsibilities before, during, and after events
