Interested in making a positive impact on your community that will last for years to come? Sign-up to join the Community Forestry team to plant 45 native trees to add to the urban tree canopy in the Herron Morton neighborhood! Thanks to your participation, the trees you plant will bring the benefits of cleaner air, carbon mitigation, and stormwater retention to Indianapolis communities. The tree planting demonstration will begin at 9:05pm the latest, please be sure to arrive to find parking ahead of the start time to ensure you learn how to properly plant a tree.

Safety: We highly recommend wearing weather-appropriate clothing and close-toed shoes. We always recommend bringing a reusable bottle for water but we will have disposable cups available if needed. KIB will provide tools and gloves.
Parking: Parking is available at the Herron High School parking lot, located at 110 East 16th Street.
*While we love group attendance at volunteer projects, all participants in a group must be registered individually.*
