Transport animals from home! TC's help build, fill, and monitor the whole process from start to finish! This process is done almost exclusively through Facebook.
This rewarding position is the link the drivers need to ensure that a pet makes it hundreds, if not thousands of miles.
This is a remote part time volunteer position and does not require/offer regular hours.
A candidate for this position MUST have a dedication to animal rescue. This is a volunteer position, and someone not motivated by passion will have a hard time succeeding.
This position will take several hours a few times a week. You may reside anywhere in the contiguous United States.
Aid the lead transport coordinator
Utilize Google Docs and Google Maps to build routes animal will travel by appropriately breaking up trip into 'legs’
Utilize Facebook to recruit volunteer drivers
Utilize AirTable to keep records of volunteer drivers
Monitor transports via Facebook messenger
Prior experience is not a requirement. Passion is.

Description
Roscoe Rescues intends to be the resource that allows responsible pet owners to easily attain their dream dog or cat through rescue. To save the lives of the purebred animals in rescue that fly under the radar and rehome them to the family that has been dreaming about them and vice versa.
Everyone picks their pets based on the way they look, and that's ok! Often, people find that their dream animal isn't easily accessible, so Roscoe Rescues is here to change that. Through education and proper preparedness, w e will give the public the opportunity to contribute to the solution of homeless dogs and cats and to allow them the means of avoiding puppy mills, hoarders and irresponsible breeders.
