ORGANIZATION: Jewish Family Service Agency

The JFSA Food Pantry is looking for dedicated volunteers to assist with our Food Pop-Up Markets across the Las Vegas valley! These markets help bring fresh, nutritious food directly to communities in need.

Volunteer Responsibilities:

Set up and break down tables, tents, and food stations
Distribute fresh produce and pantry staples to individuals and families
Assist with check-in and maintaining an organized flow of distribution
Provide a welcoming and supportive environment for those receiving assistance

Volunteer Requirements:

Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Friendly attitude and willingness to assist with tasks as needed

Upcoming Pop-Up Markets:

Locations vary-volunteers will be informed in advance (please see image for flyer)
Time commitment: Shifts typically last 2 hours

Description

JFSA was founded in 1977 to provide essential and affordable social services to the community. JFSA's programs touch the lives of well over 5,000 people in Clark County each year. JFSA is a non-sectarian agency and is funded through private donations, fund-raising programs, and a number of grants. We are a member of the Association of Jewish Family and Children's Agencies (AJFCA) the umbrella association of more than 150 JFSAs in North America.
