Position Overview:

We are looking for a passionate, organized, and dedicated individual to join our team as a Volunteer Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and supporting volunteers who contribute to our mission of empowering people and animals through art.

As a key member of our all-volunteer team, you will help build and maintain a strong volunteer network to ensure the success of our programs and initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Recruit and onboard new volunteers
• Coordinate schedules for events and community projects
• Communicate with volunteers to ensure they have the resources they need
• Help streamline volunteer processes for efficiency and impact

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with volunteer management or community outreach is a plus, but not required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for animals, art and people
• Proficiency in basic computer skills (email, Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Slack, Contact Programs, etc.)
• Comfortable using volunteer management software or willingness to learn
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing needs and priorities
