Faith & Science Connect is a growing Christian community of scientists, engineers, students, and professionals exploring the relationship between faith and science. Our mission is to foster meaningful conversations, build relationships, and provide a space for faith-driven discussions in workplaces and academic settings.

Volunteer Responsibilities:

✅ Distribute Connect Cards - Hand out cards with a QR code linking to our sign-up page.
✅ Engage with the Community - Approach professionals, students, and researchers in Kendall Square with a warm and welcoming attitude.
✅ Share Our Mission - Briefly explain Faith & Science Connect and encourage participation.
✅ Answer Basic Questions - Provide general information about our group and upcoming events.

Ideal Volunteer:

  • Outgoing, friendly, and comfortable starting conversations.
  • Passionate about faith, science, and community engagement.
  • Interested in networking with professionals and students.
  • No prior experience needed-just enthusiasm and a willingness to connect!

Mission Statement

The Rise Up mission is to provide healing, deliverance, and support to those facing challenges such as homelessness, substance abuse, and alcohol addiction. Our approach involves reaching out to individuals one-on-one and conducting community outreach programs. Additionally, we serve as a restoration center and community space, functioning as a house of prayer where we offer the ministry of the Word, deliverance, and healing with the sole purpose of restoring lives.

Description

Volunteer Needs: Volunteers for our mission play a crucial role in bringing positive impact to the community. As a volunteer, you will join a compassionate and dedicated team working towards the restoration of lives. Your commitment will involve actively participating in our community outreaches programs, engaging in one-on-one interactions ( training is to be provided), and contributing to the overall mission of healing and deliverance.
