Patient Companionship/Caregiver Relief

• The vision for Family Hospice remains centered around providing excellent compassionate care by our amazing care team and caring volunteers. Family Hospice needs volunteers interested in making a difference in the lives of our patients. We have positions available for patient companionship & caregiver relief. This role can be provided at a patient's home or at a local Assisted Living Facility. Simple conversation, engaging in activities like bingo, card playing, or being present with the patient are just a few things a patient companion can do. Must be 18 or older and have reliable transportation. Volunteer as much or as little as 1 hour a month. If you have the heart of a servant and can be a friend, being a hospice companion is for you. Musicians Needed for Assisted Living Facilities

• Do you love to play a musical instrument solo or in a group? Do you like to bring smiles and joy to our senior living communities? Then this volunteer opportunity is for you! Family Hospice is looking for Musician(s) who play a single instrument or with a group. Perform music and/or sing for our amazing senior adults and hospice patients living in assisted living. Veteran to Veteran Volunteer

• Family Hospice is looking for a Few Good Men and Women to serve our Veterans. Family Hospice is a proud partner of the We Honor Veterans program. This program educates our staff and volunteers on the unique care needs of the Military Veteran hospice patient and honors those who served on our behalf. If you would like to serve our Veteran patients by providing Vet 2 Vet companionship, participate in the We Honor Veterans presentations ceremonies &/or help start a Vet 2 Vet Social Cafe in your area. 18 or older and have served in the United States Military, Active or Retired. Administrative Assistant/Clerical Volunteer

• Family Hospice is currently looking to fill administrative/clerical roles. Assist our Office Staff with many administrative duties and our Volunteer Coordinator in gathering information for monthly reports, initial survey calls, filing, data entry. Must be 16 or older.
