Are you a certified aromatherapist looking for a meaningful way to give back to your community? St. David’s Hospice & Family Care is seeking compassionate volunteer aromatherapists to provide comfort and support to hospice patients in the Austin area.

How Aromatherapy Helps Hospice Patients:

  • Promotes relaxation and ease anxiety
  • Helps manage pain and discomfort
  • Improves sleep quality
  • Provides emotional and spiritual support

Your Role as a Volunteer:

  • Use essential oils to create a soothing environment
  • Provide gentle inhalation therapy or light touch techniques
  • Offer personalized care to enhance well-being

We ask volunteers to commit 1-2 hours per week, with shifts assigned based on patient preference. Just one hour of your time can make a lasting impact on the life of a hospice patient. Become part of St. David’s Hospice & Family Care and help bring comfort, peace, and healing to those in need.

Interested? Contact René Carlin at Roberto.Carlin@HCAHealthcare.com for questions, more information, or to obtain an application!
