Our 10,000 square foot facility needs constant care to keep it safe, clean and functional. Responsibilities include, cleaning, minor repairs, basic maintenance skills, preventive maintenance and lawn care.
We welcome handymen, retirees, renovators and jack-of-all-trades to help us support area children and families affected by autism and other special needs.

Play-Place Autism and Special Needs Center's mission is to provide a fun-filled, judgment-free, haven of hope for families affected by autism and other special needs. Through a unique play-powered environment, we combine recreation and education with a variety of social, occupational and physical therapeutic overtones. Our one-of-a-kind destination focuses on development, life skills, independence, respite relief, resource management and vocational rehabilitation to assist families the everyday nuances of "living with autism." Description
Our 17,000 square foot, one-of-a-kind facility, consists of a computer cafe for interactive academic skill building & communication; an "Art of Autism" Art Studio for creative expression, art therapy, peer relationship building and self-esteem enrichment; music and movement activities, a Haircut Hut for a soothing, grooming experience; a Bistro/coffee shop for that "me-too" conversation, sharing & a chance to exhale; and much more!
