The role of Needs Assessment Intern is to support Needs Assessment Manager in the International Headquarters. The Needs Assessment Internis responsible forassisting with Needs Assessment trip logistics and paperwork, Needs Assessment trip report editing, Needs Assessment trip data entry from the report, and collecting and generating content with stories from the field. Project C.U.R.E. completes on average 60 Needs Assessment trips each year to various countries around the world in support of the Cargo program, which delivers 225 shipments to over 50 countries each year.
Responsibilities:
The Needs Assessment Internis responsible for the following:
- Manage distribution and collection of electronic and paper forms for upcoming Needs Assessment trips.
- Update specific forms for upcoming Needs Assessment trips, such as country profiles and health system guides.
- Research and prepare upcoming travel logistics, such as visa processes or other travel requirements.
- Edit and finalize Needs Assessment trip reports. On average, there are two to five reports that need to be edited each month.
- Finalize and submit project paperwork from recently completed Needs Assessment trips, including data entry from the trip.
- Create one-pagers summarizing the Needs Assessment trip for distribution to potential fundraising partnersand volunteers.
- Curate and keep up to date a bank of media highlighting impactful stories from recent Needs Assessment trips.
- Other tasks as assigned by the Needs Assessment Manager
The Needs Assessment Intern works closely with the Needs Assessment Manager.
Qualifications:
- Must be highly organized and have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment, with a high degree of professionalism and integrity.
- Ability to track and keep up to date with multiple projects at different stages throughout the Needs Assessment process.
- Has an attitude of openness, is eager to learn new things, and does not get stuck in a repetitive pattern of doing the same things the same way for too long.
This role can be virtual or work out of our Denver, CO office.
