Location: Hybrid* This is a predominantly remote role, except where volunteer participation is required in person for scheduled engagements/events/team meetings; scheduling notice will be provided no less than one week in advance

This role will report to the Director of Fundraising.

About Our Organization: We are a responsible non-profit organization that provides basketball-centric programs and technological access to underprivileged youth, especially within minority communities. Our upcoming basketball-dependent technology access program, starting in Las Vegas, NV, in January 2024, signifies our relentless pursuit of societal change.

Opportunity Overview: We need committed Fundraising Volunteers to assist in raising the vital funds needed to continue our mission. This role involves a variety of fundraising activities, both creative and traditional.

The ideal candidate will be eager to help, passionate about our cause, and possess excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist in the planning and implementation of fundraising activities at the direction of the Donor Relations Manager

* Engage with potential donors and sponsors, including individuals, businesses, and other organizations.

* Work with the Volunteer Fundraising Director to achieve fundraising goals.

* Maintain records of fundraising activities and outcomes.

* Communicate regularly with stakeholders, providing updates, responding to inquiries, and acknowledging contributions.

Qualifications:

* Experience with or interest in fundraising in the non-profit sector.

* Excellent written and oral communication skills.

* Understanding of various fundraising strategies.

* Demonstrable ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Skills:

* Excellent organization and planning skills.

* Superior interpersonal and networking abilities.

* Creative thinker with a passion for fundraising.

* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.
