About International SEVAInternational SEVA is a nonprofit dedicated to uplifting seniors, special needs children, and underprivileged communities through sustainable, intergenerational programs. Our latest initiatives include:
- Arts & Crafts Classes launching in Spring 2025, bringing seniors and special needs children together for creative engagement.
- Microgreens Project launching in April or May 2025 (pending funding), fostering nutrition, sustainability, and intergenerational connections.
We are looking for a passionate and organized Volunteer Coordinator to help recruit, screen, and manage volunteers while assisting with event planning, marketing, and community outreach. This role is ideal for someone who loves working with people, has strong organizational skills, and wants to make a real impact!
Key Responsibilities:Volunteer Recruitment & Management
- Interview and screen new volunteers to ensure the best fit for our programs.
- Match volunteers with appropriate roles based on skills and interests.
- Provide onboarding, training, and ongoing support.
Event Planning & Execution
- Assist in organizing and executing community outreach events, fundraising initiatives, arts & crafts classes, and the Microgreens Project.
- Coordinate logistics for volunteer participation in events.
Marketing & Outreach
- Collaborate with the team to promote volunteer opportunities through social media, email, and community platforms.
- Assist in creating marketing materials for recruitment and events.
Community Engagement
- Serve as the primary point of contact for volunteers, ensuring they feel valued and engaged.
- Maintain volunteer records and track participation.
- Passion for community service, special needs advocacy, arts & crafts, or senior engagement.
- Strong communication & organizational skills.
- Experience in event planning, volunteer management, or marketing (preferred but not required).
- Comfortable using social media, email marketing, and volunteer databases.
Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

- Seeking grant writers, marketing, and volunteer support.
- Generous funding from individuals, Corporations, Foundations to provide hygiene kits, meals, groceries and educational/craft supplies for underprivileged and special needs children.
PROGRAMS:
- Provide much needed & deserved well-being, joy & comfort through educational, wellness awareness, advocacy, religious & social services.
- Provide poverty relief & share local community-based services with commitment & unwavering desire to always serve mankind with passion, persistence & hard work whenever & however possible to live with inner/mental peace. Promote self-fulfillment and self-sufficiency.
- With trust, respect & open communication: Team-up, collaborate & provide educational & nutritional support to Organizations with similar passions, goals.
