Duties

Journey through books as a Library Outreach Volunteer!

The Library To Go van travels around the city to educate the public on all the way s the library can help people . We go to schools, senior centers, Movies in the Parks, Westy Fest, Standley Lake and more.

  • Volunteers will be interacting with the public at every event . As representatives of the library these public interactions should be friendly and welcoming.
  • Volunteers will be responsible for attending a training session prior to signing up for shifts. The training will cover resources the library offers, and van safety .
Outdoor events take place April - October . Indoor events run year-round .
