The Financial Empowerment Center Career Pathway Researcher at Neighbors, Inc. is critical to helping a growing continuum of financial wellness programs (jobs, training and financial education), collaborating with various partners, and working with clients to achieve their employment goals. This position will be a part of a growing Financial Empowerment team with the ultimate goals of improving financial well-being and self-sufficiency for those we serve.

Essential Position Functions:

· The Career Pathway Researcher volunteer will work with the career and financial coach at Neighbors to help find employment opportunities for the clients based on previous work history and education experience along with career goals by taking the information provided and locating job or education opportunities. This position can be done either remotely or in person.

Position Qualifications:

· Minimum:

o Have a knowledge of search functions on websites

o Be able to compose a document with specific job postings

o Be available on an as needed basis and be able to send jobs back in a timely manner

· Preferred:

o Bilingual: Spanish/English Knowledge

Skills and Abilities:

· Able to be discreet and manage confidential information.
