We are looking for compassionate volunteers willing to donate this service to home-bound hospice patients! This would be a strictly volunteer based service and would be provided in the patient's place of residence. Many of our patients are no longer physically able to leave their home to receive cosmetology services, which provides a unique opportunity for cosmetologists and cosmetology trainees in our area to serve and gain experience!
Cosmetology/ Barber Volunteers have direct patient contact and will need to complete AccentCare volunteer training, have valid identification, successfully pass a background check, COVID vaccination, and complete a TB Test/health assessment. Background checks and TB Tests/health assessments are paid for by Accentcare. Volunteers need to be 18 years or older.

Description
We provide care to our patients wherever they call home, whether that is a private residence, nursing home, Assisted Living Facility, or other location. We understand that each patient and family’s journey and needs are different. As a Medicare-certified hospice, AccentCare is proud to offer all four levels of hospice care: Routine, Inpatient, Respite, and Continuous Care. We work with our patients and medical team to determine the level of care appropriate for each patient.
