The Aging, Culture, & Cognition lab at Brandeis University is recruiting subjects for a (paid) EEG study. This study aims to understand how culture affects memory. It involves completing some questionnaires and visiting the lab (Volen #217) for the experiment, which will take up to 4 hours. Please see the attached flyer for more details.
In the experiment, you will be asked to view words and images on a computer and answer some questions about how well you remember these items. We will record EEG during the experiment. EEG is a non-invasive method of measuring brain activity. We place electrodes on your scalp and face using a special gel, which can be easily washed out.
We compensate $20 per hour, $10 for completing pre-visit questionnaires, and an additional $5 to cover your travel expenses if you're commuting to campus. Parking will also be provided.
