Do you love sports? Want to make a real difference while sharing your passion for coaching? Special Olympics North Carolina (SONC) is looking for coaches and assistant coaches to help local athletes with intellectual disabilities develop their skills, build confidence, and experience the joy of competition!
With Spring Games right around the corner, we need motivated coaches for:
- Swimming
- Basketball
- Bowling
- Volleyball
- Attend a SONC Coaching Workshop to get prepared
- Train and mentor athletes in their chosen sport, helping them grow and excel
- Be part of the Spring Games on April 4, 2025, supporting athletes as they compete
- Kickoff Call to get started
- SONC Coach Training (if you’re new to coaching with us)
- One practice per week leading up to the Games
- Attendance at the Spring Games on April 4, 2025
