Role Description:
We are seeking an organized and dedicated Volunteer Manager to lead our volunteer program. The Volunteer Manager will be responsible for recruiting, and coordinating volunteers, ensuring they are effectively engaged in supporting our mission. This position is essential in building a strong and motivated volunteer network to expand our impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Screen, interview, and onboard new volunteers.
- Organize sessions to equip volunteers with the necessary skills and knowledge.
- Coordinate volunteer schedules and assignments to support various programs.
- Maintain accurate records of volunteer activities and contributions.
- Foster a positive and inclusive volunteer culture.
- Provide ongoing support and recognition to volunteers.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify volunteer needs and opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Experience in volunteer coordination, human resources, or nonprofit management preferred.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Passion for mental health advocacy and community engagement.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
