As a volunteer, you’ll provide companionship and socialization to hospice patients who could use a friendly face and someone to share moments with. Whether it’s playing cards, watching TV, reading a book, or simply chatting, your presence can bring comfort and joy.

Our volunteer can make a difference in many ways to improve the life of patients who are facing a life-limiting illness. From direct contact with patients to providing clerical support, the volunteer is an important part of our hospice care team. At Amedisys, we offer comprehensive training and creative ideas. people helping people. that is what giving to hospice care is all about. As a Hospice volunteer and as an important part of our Hospice Care Team, you can help improve the quality of life of our Patients, as well as their family and caregivers.
