Looking to help a child or family in need this Winter? Sign up to create much needed resource kits at home or within an organization. This is a remote volunteer project that is completed at your location and convenience. You can purchase the items on the materials list below, organize a supply drive within an organization or school or purchase pre-made kits or items from our Amazon wish list https://www.amazon.com/registries/gl/guest-view/BUBJHIHQALLQ . Materials must be in new condition. CHS team members will share the items based on the greatest need of the clients they serve. This is a great opportunity to receive community service hours. There is no limit to how many hours you can receive. Once completed kits can be mailed or dropped off to our location located at, Children’s Home Society of FL 3335 Forest Hill Blvd West Palm Beach, FL 33406 Attn: Julie Young. Monday-Friday 9am-4:30pm, except for holidays. For volunteer verification letter or questions please email julie.young@chsfl.org . To get started please complete a profile on our volunteer website https://chsfl.volunteerhub.com and register under "Winter Fun Kit." Register for how many events according to how many hours you are in need of. Example-each event represents 2 hours, if you are in need of 10 hours -register for five days. Volunteers from out of state please register under Palm Beach County. Select one Winter Fun Kit below and make sure your kit contain at least 5 items (must be 5 different items and please do not mix kits). Items must be new. Each kit will earn you 2 hours of volunteer time. Each item purchased from our Amazon wish list will earn you 2 hours of volunteer time.
