As a School-Based Big, you’ll meet with your Little at school for about 30 minutes during lunch or before/after school hours, with just a couple of visits a month making a big impact. Spend time eating, reading together, doing homework, playing games, or just talking-offering encouragement and friendship in a familiar setting. With a flexible schedule and a simple commitment, you can help a student build confidence and reach their potential!

Kansas Big Brothers Big Sisters is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to transforming the lives of youth through one-to-one mentoring relationships.
We are a statewide organization with offices in Hays, Manhattan, Wichita, Newton, Hutchinson, Winfield, Lawrence, Topeka, Pittsburg, Emporia serving the surrounding areas. We offer volunteer opportunities for caring adult mentors to be matched with youth in a community based or school based matches as an individual, couple, or family match. We currently have nearly 1,000 youth in Kansas waiting for a Big like YOU. Learn more at kansasbigs.org or inquire here!
