Volunteer with Us: Where Wildlife Conservation Meets AI Innovation!
Do you love wildlife and care deeply about protecting the natural world? Are you someone with technical skills looking for a meaningful way to make a difference?
Join us in our mission to transform wildlife conservation! We’re creating the Wildlife Watcher, a smart camera that records and identifies a variety of wildlife species using AI. Whether it’s tracking endangered animals, fighting poaching, or monitoring ecosystems, we’re using cutting-edge technology to safeguard biodiversity and build a sustainable future.
We are currently seeking a volunteer mid/senior C developer to assist with the deployment of our embedded device. We have a fantastic team of experts in machine learning and species conservation, and we would love to add a software engineer to support the development of our embedded system.
This will involve:
- Assisting us in developing the firmware to enable all of our hardware components to communicate
- Developing embedded software for image processing and optimization within the Wildlife Watcher camera, prioritizing low power consumption
- Documenting and reviewing version controlled software updates
Why Volunteer with Us?
- Be part of innovative solutions and contribute to meaningful projects that directly benefit wildlife and ecosystems.
- Collaborate with a passionate, multidisciplinary team.
- Use your skills for a purpose-driven cause while gaining unique experience in conservation tech.
If you’re ready to make a difference, join us where technology and the wild come together. Together, we can protect our planet’s biodiversity and create a better future.
Apply Now and bring your expertise to the frontlines of wildlife conservation!
