We are seeking passionate Workshop Facilitators to lead engaging and educational online or in-person (PA) workshops as part of our Girls Empowerment Zone (GEZ) Program.
We are looking for experienced professionals in teaching, writing, reading, mathematics, psychology, social work, and the arts to share their expertise and inspire learners. This role is ideal for educators, artists, and professionals eager to make a meaningful impact.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and facilitate interactive and educational workshops in your area of expertise.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment tailored to different age groups (7-17 years old) and skill levels.
- Provide guidance and encouragement to participants, fostering their personal and academic growth.
- Work with the GEZ Program team to align workshops with organizational goals and community needs.
Desired Areas of Expertise:
- Education: Teachers specializing in writing, reading, elementary math, and algebra.
- Psychology & Social Work: Professionals who can lead discussions on mental wellness, social skills, and emotional development.
- Arts & Creativity: Artists in sculpture, painting, and music who can provide hands-on creative experiences.
- Math & Literacy: Lower and middle school math teachers and reading specialists for foundational skill-building.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in teaching, facilitation, or mentorship in a relevant field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt content to different learning styles and needs.
- Passion for community service and education.

Our service delivery model is executed through three programs:
- Girls Empowerment Zone (ages 7-17)
- College Women Initiative (1st Generation College Women, ages 17-22)
- Women’s Empowerment Work (ageless)
Through our programs, we help women and girls gain confidence, build life skills, and achieve personal and professional success.
We are seeking enthusiastic and passionate volunteers to join our team and help us make a meaningful impact. Volunteers will have the opportunity to contribute to various aspects of the organization based on their skills and interests, and to be part of a supportive, dynamic community.
