osition Requirements - The Adoption Coordinator Assistant works closely with the rest of the Adoption Team to assist in finding hounds their forever homes. It entails 5-10 hours per week but can be done from home with phone and email access.
Duties will include:
Notifying the adoption team of any concerns with new applications
Using Petstablished software to add new hounds when they arrive to BHRSC
Using Petstablished software to retrieve intake/adoption statistics when asked
Using DonorSnap software to add new contacts
Using DonorSnap software to update contact’s adoption status
Using DonorSnap software to update hound information when needed
Responding to adoption questions coming through BHRSC hotline and adoption e-mails
Providing other general support/assistance to the Adoption Team as needed
Covering duties for other members of the Adoption Team for vacations or as needed

To offer sanctuary, healing and placement into a new family to distressed, abandoned, injured or homeless Hounds. We work to raise funds to save as many Hounds as possible and constantly strive to grow our network of volunteers and foster homes.

Basset Hound Rescue of Southern California was founded in 1997 and has saved more than 1,800 hounds since our inception. We are all volunteer run and operate with the help of more than 70 dedicated volunteers.
