Phoenix Hospice’s volunteer program is looking for compassionate, caring members of our communities (Wichita, KS; Overland Park, KS; Springfield, MO; and Independence, MO) who are interested in hospice volunteering. Do you have an interest in spending time with patients? Do you love engaging in a variety of activities or have a favorite one you’d like to share? Description

Hospice provides comfort care and focuses on quality of life. Hospice is a benefit that is available to those who are facing a life-limiting illness. Hospice does not give us the power to shorten or prolong life. Hospice gives us the power to choose how we live.
