The Children's Heart Foundation is holding our family-friendly annual Long Island Congenital Heart Walk at Sunken Meadow State Park on Saturday, May 3rd. This event brings together the community to raise awareness and support of those affected by congenital heart defects. Our foundation funds research to advance the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of contenital heart defects which is incredibly important as heart defects are the number 1 birth defect in the US, impacting 1 in 110 babies or 40,000 babies per year.

We're looking for volunteers to help the morning of the walk! Opportunities include event setup, event tear down, help at our activities and refreshment tents, tshirt distribution/registration, and more. Please consider joining us for what will be a memorable event for an important cause!
