ORGANIZATION: Seattle Housing Authority

  • 9 people are interested

Seattle Housing Authority has an inventory of hundreds of refurbished laptops to be given to SHA residents. However, these laptops have software/hardware errors that need to be discovered and documented before the warranty expires in late April. We’re looking for computer technician(s) to follow detailed instructions for quality control checking these laptops. Any encountered issues would be documented along with minor attempts to resolve them such as restarting computer and software updates. Ability to resolve more complicated hardware/software issues would be preferred, but not necessary to be successful.

Skills needed include knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and basic knowledge of Microsoft applications. Please be diligent and detail oriented.

The Seattle Housing Authority’s (SHA) mission is to enhance the Seattle community by creating and sustaining decent, safe, and affordable living environments that foster stability and increase self-sufficiency for people with low income.
