Are you passionate about books, reading and looking to give back? We need volunteers to help us organize, sort, and display our book donations at the Swanton ReStore. From fiction to cookbooks, children’s literature to puzzles, your efforts will ensure our book section is inviting and well-stocked for all to enjoy!
What You’ll Be Doing:
Sort and organize donated books by category, author, or theme.
Arrange books on shelves to create an attractive and easy-to-browse display.
Keep the book area clean and organized, and ensure all books are in good condition.
Assist with other tasks throughout the store.
The store is open Tuesday-Saturday 9 am-3 pm with opportunities to volunteer Monday as well. Scheduling is flexible - join us for an hour, day, or daily! Volunteers must be 16+.
Details like what to wear, what to bring, etc. are provided upon registration. If you have any unanswered questions after reading through the material, let us know! We can be reached at volunteer@vermonthabitat.org.
