ORGANIZATION: BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS OF SUMMIT MEDINA AND STARK COUNTIES INC

We are currently seeking mentors for youth aged 6-12 across Summit, Medina and Stark Counties.

Mentors can assist children with homework, play games, attend sporting events and more.

Mentors must be able to meet their Little Brother/Sister twice a month and have reliable transportation.

Mentors obtain background checks, support and guidance from staff, as well as receive swag and events throughout the year!

Big Brothers Big Sisters is a trained mentoring organization, that connects youth to qualified volunteers to help guide and inspire. The impact of a consistent, caring adult in a child's life can have a lasting positive impact on their physical, emotional and financial well-being.

We are currently seeking mentors for youth aged 6-12. Mentors can assist children with homework, play games, attend sporting events and more.

  • Must be at least 21
  • Orientation or Training
  • Volunteers commit to one year of mentoring. Twice monthly, at maximum once weekly.
  • Mentors must submit background check, references, complete interviews and trainings. All Mentees must have signed permission from their parent/guardian.
