The Arthritis Foundation - DC Metro area is seeking dedicated volunteers to join the committee for our 2025 Walk to Cure Arthritis (WTCA) event. As our flagship fundraising event, your support is vital as we honor the nearly 60 million Americans living with arthritis. Together, we have the power to make a profound impact by raising awareness and funds to change the course of arthritis for the better.
Volunteers partner with the event Chairs and Arthritis Foundation staff to ensure that the event meets its community engagement and fundraising goals.
Committee member's responsibilities may include:
- Attending regular committee meetings
- Recruiting and outreach to participants
- Soliciting sponsorships and donations: financial and in-kind
- Assisting with social media and communications
- Helping day of during in-person event (05/17/2025 )
- Sharing the mission of the Arthritis Foundation
We’re looking for volunteers who can spare a few hours each month to help out as we get ready for the event on 05/17/2025 . Your support would mean so much to us!
