At Caris Hospice, our Special Project Volunteers play a vital role in providing warmth, comfort, and joy to our patients through handmade gifts. These volunteers create beautiful, heartfelt items like blankets, crocheted hats, scarves, prayer shawls, and more.
Every patient who enters our care receives a welcoming gift - a cozy blanket and a stuffed animal - both lovingly crafted by our dedicated volunteers. These thoughtful items bring smiles to the faces of our patients and their families, offering a sense of comfort during a challenging time.
In addition to year-round gifts, some of our volunteers create seasonal items, such as holiday ornaments and Veterans Day goodie bags, ensuring that each patient feels remembered and appreciated.
