Help Make the Special Olympics NC Summer Games Greener!

The thrill of competition shouldn’t come at the cost of the planet we love. Help us make the 2025 Special Olympics NC Summer Games a greener, more sustainable event-because champions deserve a cleaner world to compete and grow in!

What You’ll Do:
  • Brainstorm and implement creative ways to reduce waste, recycle, and reuse
  • Partner with NC State to promote eco-friendly practices at event venues
  • Work hands-on with volunteers to keep the event as green as possible
Time Commitment:
  • Kickoff Call: March 6, 2025
  • Up to one day a week leading up to the Games for planning and logistics
  • Possible venue visits at NC State and surrounding locations
  • Event Weekend: May 30 - June 1, 2025
