My Style Matters is a grassroots nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women affected by breast cancer through wellness, education, support, and advocacy. Our programs focus on breast cancer awareness, prevention, survivorship, and reducing health disparities.

Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Volunteer Program Manager to support the development and implementation of educational programs focused on breast cancer awareness, prevention, and survivorship. This role will help create educational materials, including facilitator’s manuals, presentations, participant guides, and handouts, to ensure that our programs effectively educate and empower the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and management of educational programs focused on breast cancer and prevention.
  • Research and create evidence-based educational materials, including facilitator’s manuals, presentations, participant guides, and handouts.
  • Ensure that materials are culturally relevant, accessible, and aligned with public health best practices.
  • Collaborate with staff, other volunteers, and community partners to enhance program effectiveness.
  • Support program evaluation by collecting feedback and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay updated on breast cancer prevention research, public health policies, and community health trends to ensure program content remains accurate and impactful.
  • Provide support in coordinating workshops, webinars, and community outreach initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
  • Background in Public Health, Health Education, Community Health, or a related field (graduate students and professionals encouraged to apply).
  • Experience in program development, health education, or community outreach is a plus.
  • Passion for breast cancer prevention, health equity, and community empowerment.
  • Experience using Canva, PowerPoint, or other design tools to create educational materials is a plus.
