1. Working with volunteer participants:

Research team:

  • Report to the R & D Project Coordinator.

  • Work with other RA’s to complete monthly research goals set.

  • Attend monthly and quarterly meetings.

  • Assisting with conductance of qualitative and quantitative research.

Storytelling team/ storytellers:

  • Helping with session plan formation with appropriate values that the children require in the specific library that the RA is assigned to.

2. Data collection and analysis:

  • Conducting tests as per protocol trained in.

  • Showing appropriate care and consideration of the children who have experienced trauma and the management.

  • Conducting quantitative questionnaires : Hope Scale and Self - Perception scale

  • Conduct qualitative assessments: Interviews and Transcription (execution)

  • Adhere to timelines and deadlines given.

3. Development of the organization:

  • Be present during Bookwallah meetings.

Please note:

  • Since it is a part time role there are no fixed timings. Timings akin to workload to be catered to.

  • You may be required to travel for company projects anywhere within the assigned chapter.

  • Hours of work per week will be dependent on the deliverables associated with your position and can be estimated between 5-7 hours a week.

We started small in India and today we are actively supporting over 2,500 children with our permanent libraries and over 45,000 with our first-level interventions, worldwide. These children are served by our wonderful network of volunteers, some of whom have been working with us for over 10 years.
