Stockdale Campground - Tuttle Creek Lake - Manhattan, KS
This position is located at Stockdale Campground at Tuttle Creek Lake near Manhattan, KS. Stockdale Park is a small 12-site campground, with two boat ramps, a shower house, and two vault restrooms.
Park Host Duties:
Recruiting one volunteer or volunteer couple to work weekends and holidays, to:
- Greet visitors, answer questions, distribute maps/handouts/brochures, provide information about reserving campsites.
- Monitor campsite occupancy, registrations, check-ins and check-outs (no fee collection)
- Litter pickup, cleaning and stocking restrooms, removing trash and basic grounds work
Volunteer will be provided a campsite in return for 20 hours of service per week. Campsite includes water, sewer, and 50-amp electric hookups. Volunteer will work weekends and holidays, with two consecutive days off mid-week.
