Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: National Park Service

Do you see yourself amongst others interpreting the Redwoods to visitors? Then come on over and situate yourself within the Grove of the Titans as a Titaneer!

We present you with an opportunity to volunteer alongside Redwood National and State Park staff as well as the Redwood Parks Conservancy. Contribute to the preservation of a well-visited trail of park visitors.

Duties primarily include:

· Interacting with visitors on the Grove of Titans trail or roving around the trailhead if you are unable to hike far.

· Informing visitors on the level of difficulty of the trail and what they may encounter.

· Informing visitors of the Leave No Trace principle

· Picking up trash along the trail and in parking areas near the Grove of Titans trail

· Directing parking traffic on busier days of the season

Expectations:

· Titaneer volunteers will need to volunteer a minimum of approximately 8 hours per month. This can look like one full 8-hour shift or broken up into two 4-hour shifts.
