Volunteer Roles & Responsibilities

Course Monitor
Be the heartbeat of the course! Guide participants in the right direction while keeping the path safe. Bring your energy-think pom-poms, music, cowbells, signs, and costumes-and cheer runners on as they pass. Creativity is encouraged!

Aid Station
Help keep participants hydrated and motivated. Provide water, pick up discarded cups and bottles, and keep the area clean and organized. High fives and encouragement always welcome!

Finish Line Photographer
Capture special moments as participants cross the finish line. Don’t worry-we’ll provide the camera!

Course Photographer
Head out to scenic spots on the course and snap awesome action shots. (Bring your own camera for this role.)

Lead Bike
Take the lead and guide runners along the course! You’ll need your own bike and helmet and will pre-ride the route before race day to ensure everything runs smoothly.

The Turtle (Last Participant)
This role is all about supporting others. As the "Turtle," you’ll follow behind the final participant at a steady pace, ensuring everyone’s safety and keeping the event flowing smoothly. You’ll be the ultimate champion of encouragement, making sure every runner completes their journey!

Finish Line Volunteer
Help set up the awards table, distribute medals, and share results. You’ll be right at the heart of the post-race excitement!
