Are you passionate about mental health and helping others? NAMI Central Texas is expanding to Williamson County, and we’re looking for dedicated volunteers to join our mission of supporting mental well-being in the Georgetown, Cedar Park, and Round Rock areas.
We need caring, enthusiastic individuals to help with:
- Community outreach and event support
- Peer & family support and education
- Public speaking and advocacy
- Tabling and resource distribution

Description
NAMI Central Texas is a tax-exempt, non-profit organization and an affiliate of NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) and NAMI Texas.
We are a volunteer network of families, consumers, friends, and concerned professionals working together to improve the quality of life for those affected by severe and persistent mental illness. Our goal is to enable each individual affected by a mental health condition to live the best life possible. NAMI Central Texas provides a place to meet and learn from others and to let others learn from you.
We educate ourselves and others about mental illness.
We promote better treatment and support services, and advocate for research into the causes and treatments of mental illness.
We are a network of people working to improve the lives of all who are impacted by serious mental illness.
