Role Overview: As a Graphic Design Volunteer at the Thaddeus Resource Center, you will contribute your creative skills to enhance our visual communication and outreach efforts. Your designs will play a vital role in conveying our mission, engaging our community, and supporting women and single moms on their journey toward self-sufficiency.

Responsibilities:

1. Design Collateral:

   • Create eye-catching marketing materials such as flyers, brochures, and posters.

   • Design digital assets for social media campaigns and website content.

2. Branding and Identity:

   • Maintain consistency in visual branding across all platforms.

   • Develop and refine the Thaddeus Resource Center’s visual identity.

3. Event Promotion:

   • Design event banners, invitations, and promotional graphics.

   • Collaborate with the events team to ensure effective communication.

4. Website Graphics:

   • Assist in creating graphics for the organization’s website.

   • Optimize images for web use.

5. Photo and Video Editing:

   • Enhance and edit photos and videos for various purposes.

   • Ensure high-quality visuals for storytelling.

6. Skills and Qualifications:

   • Proficiency in Graphic Design Tools:

     • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

     • Experience with Canva Pro for quick design tasks.

   • Creativity and Attention to Detail:

     • Ability to translate ideas into visually appealing designs.

     • Strong attention to detail and aesthetics.

   • Collaborative Spirit:

     • Work closely with other volunteers and staff.

     • Incorporate feedback and iterate on designs.

7. Time Commitment:

   • Minimum of 4 hours per week (flexible scheduling).
