About Us:
Habitat for Humanity of the St. Vrain Valley partners with qualifying low-income families to build decent, affordable housing. Since 1988, we’ve worked alongside businesses, civic groups, and community members to create a future where everyone has a safe place to call home.
Volunteer Role:
We’re seeking a volunteer videographer & photographer to help us capture the impact of our mission through compelling visuals. Your work will be featured across our social media channels, website, and marketing materials to inspire more people to get involved.
Responsibilities:
- Capture high-quality photos and videos at build sites, events, and homeowner celebrations
- Create short-form video content for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
- Edit and organize content for use in marketing and storytelling
- Collaborate with the Habitat team to highlight key stories and initiatives
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in photography and/or videography (professional or hobbyist)
- Basic editing skills (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or mobile editing apps)
- Ability to tell a story through visuals
- Passion for community service and affordable housing

Since 1988, Habitat for Humanity of the St. Vrain Valley has been building simple, decent, affordable homes for those in need throughout our community. The mission of Habitat for Humanity is "to put God’s love into action, bringing people together to build homes, communities, and hope."
Description
Based in Longmont, Habitat for Humanity of the St. Vrain Valley has built 120 homes locally. Our homes are sold to qualified family partners at cost with a no-profit mortgage. As homeowners repay their mortgage, the funds are invested into building more homes for deserving families. We select homeowner families based on their need for adequate shelter, their ability to pay for a Habitat home, and their willingness to partner with Habitat for Humanity, including taking financial and homeownership classes. All homeowners contribute "sweat equity"; they work in partnership with the affiliate and other volunteers, contributing up to 500 hours of volunteer service.
