As the founder of Prison Writers (prisonwriters.com), I have the chance to get to know many prisoners all across the country. One of my incarcerated writers stands out as someone who deserves outside help because of the injustice he has faced with his case.
I've invested some time looking into Shakeil Price's legal case, and I believe he is innocent. (I have considerable experience covering high-profile criminal cases for CBS and CNN, so I'm not naive about claims of innocence.)
I'm hoping to help him find a post-conviction appeals attorney who can represent him in the U.S. District Court 3rd Circuit. (New Jersey)
