The most unforgettable moment of the Special Olympics NC Summer Games is when athletes step onto the podium to receive their hard-earned medals and ribbons-and YOU can be part of that magic!

What You’ll Do:

As an Awards Ceremony Volunteer, you’ll work with a team to organize and present awards, ensuring every athlete gets the recognition they deserve in a memorable, celebratory atmosphere that follows Special Olympics protocol.

Time Commitment:

  • Kickoff Call: March 6, 2025
  • One day a week leading up to the Games to help plan
  • Event Weekend: May 30 - June 1, 2025
