Are you a compassionate, empathetic individual looking to make a meaningful difference? By becoming a hospice activities volunteer with OhioHealth Hospice with Compassus, you can bring comfort and joy to the lives of hospice patients through simple, heartfelt activities such as playing cards, doing puzzles, reading, sitting, or sharing conversation.
We are seeking caring individuals to visit hospice patients in facility settings and private homes in the central Ohio area. The gift of your time and supportive presence can brighten someone’s day and provide much-needed companionship during their journey.
As a volunteer, you’ll receive ongoing one-on-one staff support and training, access to optional educational opportunities, and invitations to appreciation events. Your kindness and willingness to connect can make a world of difference.
If you have the heart to serve, we would love to have you join our team! To get involved, contact Jennifer Porter at Jennifer.Porter@Compassus.com, or fill out a volunteer application on our website: : https://hospicecom.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/Volunteer?q=columbus.
Together we can provide comfort and dignity when it matters most.
