Join us this Earth Day at the White Point Nature Preserve! Celebrate Earth Day by helping to care for the White Point Nature Preserve Native Plant Demonstration Garden!

Enjoy weeding, native plant seed preparation, children's learning activities at the Nature Center, a guided garden walk, raffle prizes, and more! Join us and make a difference this Earth Day!

Event starts at 9am we encourage you to arrive early. The check-in desk will be open starting at 8:30 AM

If you register after 6pm on April 18th, you will need to sign a release form onsite at the event on April 19th.

All volunteers under 18 must have an adult sign their release form. All volunteers under 16 should be accompanied by an adult.

Please note that events may be canceled due to weather conditions.

The mission of the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy (PVPLC) is to "preserve land and restore habitat for the education and enjoyment of all."

Description

The Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy (PVPLC) manages over 1600 acres of open space on the Palos Verdes Peninsula, and two nature centers with native plant demonstration gardens. The PVPLC engages volunteers in the development and maintenance of native plant gardens in order to demonstrate how gardening with native plants is beneficial for the environment.
